Fire prevention in urbanization

Nobody knows that the seventh house is creamy, so I thought I would go there but if I do not take precautions to be on the risc and not know-ho. The responsibility for maintaining the defense zone or the discontinuity zone corresponds to the owner(s) of the buildings or urban land. CREATE A DEFENDABLE SPACE

• Perform a 30-meter-wide perimeter clearing of the scrub, which permanently separates your home from the bush.

• Avoid accumulations of combustible remains (firewood, gardening, waste materials), free facade, doors and windows. Watch out for the firewoods!

• Make sure that 10 meters from your house there are no trees, if any, they should be pruned to a height of 2/3 and separated from each other by 4 meters and with construction elements at least 3 meters.

• Avoid flammable vegetation barriers (hedges) and hurdle and dry heather fences.

• Remove leaves and / or needles and dry or dead remains from the garden.

• Deposit pruning and / or garden waste in the right places.

• Condition the access roads to your home for the entry and maneuver of the extinguishing vehicles or their approach to it and to the available water points.
